Today I'll soeak about the latest anime I've recently discovered, or well GUNxSWORD.
I had some doubts in watching it since people told me it was somehow similar to Trigun and Cowboy Bebop (2 animes I've barely watched, because well..those aren't properly my genres). Anyway I'm not that convinced by this definition. The main character, Van, could have something that make you think about Spike or Vash, but he's on the other side completely different. I think he had to be the super heroe prototype, but he ends up in being an hilarious character (although I can feel bad while he's eating O_O). The mecha itself is a sort of mix between an Eva (because it tends to be more simlar to a human body than to a classical mecha) and a Gundam from the new generation (the weapons mainly, although its sword it's freaking original XD.
The story is good (nothing to be crazy for but better than the average you can find lately) and the characters are interesting (lol for some subjects under several points of view, let's just think about Carmen 99 XD). Listen to my suggestion and watch it, it's worth your time (ehrm if you only watch shoujo anime leave it apart, it's not your genre)
